He shoots he scores / Caradoc and Matilda

dearlydearborn:

She was rambling. She was so adorable when she was rambling. Doc couldn’t stop looking at her, excitedly raising his eyebrows and smiling, pretending he was into Quidditch like he had for the past 17 years of his life. Matty was breathless and flushed and excited and Doc couldn’t take his eyes off of her. How had he not realized sooner that he loved her? This wide-eyed, innocent girl from next door was the one he was sure he would spend the rest of his life with.

As she pointed at the sky, Doc laughed. He absentmindedly stroked her hair, twisting it around his fingers as he watched her eager face. This was finally happening, and she was finally his. All his. He shifted his weight, getting into a more comfortable position and gathered her in his arms. He was so content to let her do all the talking. Doc felt like he could watch her forever, admiring every last detail of her face. He kissed her again, closing his eyes and relishing the way she molded her body and lips to his perfectly.

Matilda was midway through a sentence, enjoying the feel of him playing with her hair, when she felt him moving. His lips crashing into hers, effectively cutting her off and taking her attention away from the sky and moving it onto him. She kissed him enthusiastically, her lips moving against his before she sat back and pouted at him. “I’m guessing you don’t want to talk about the sky?” She asked in amusement. Merlin, he was so cute. She leaned against him, one of her hands entangling themselves in his hair and the other cupping his cheek.

She shivered despite the warm blanket, it had grown considerably cooler since they had first sat down. Matilda opened her eyes and leaned slightly back, their foreheads still touching. As she trailed her fingers up and down the back of his neck she whispered, “Should we go back inside?”

Umm….Alright. Matty are you….are you still mad over the bet?

No. I don’t care about the bet anymore.

ravenclawgreta:

Oh no Matty! Do you want me to try and help you get them back?

I can do it on my own…

He shoots he scores / Caradoc and Matilda

dearlydearborn:

Doc took pleasure in everything Matty did. Her hands on his back, her perfect little sigh, and the way she was kissing him. Everything felt right.

He didn’t want to go too far with her tonight. He would actually be content to just sit with her and watch the stars. Even more content to watch her watch the stars. This was the first time a girl had been so into him, wanting more, and all Doc wanted to do was hold her. It’s not like he didn’t want to go all the way with her, he just needed the perfect setting for it. Since she was the perfect girl.

He wrapped his arms around her waist again, enjoying the feeling of it. Bringing his head up to the surface, he pulled her closer to him. “You did a great job commentating tonight, by the way,” he said as he looked at the night sky and then back to Matilda. “You’re the most adorable commentator we’ve had yet.”

Matty smiled at him, “I don’t even remember most of it, honestly. It’s all a blur, Merlin it was so exciting!” Her voice was breathless, partly from left over excitement from the game and partly from kissing him. Her eyes shined in the moonlight, as she remembered the exciting match just mere hours ago. “When the two seekers disappeared into the cloud, I was so afraid something was going to happen to them, but it was so nervewracking. I just wanted to know who caught the snitch!” She rambled on, her eyes widening as if reliving the moment.

“But never mind that- Oh look!” Matilda pointed up into the sky in excitement, “Do you see that bright star just to the left of the moon? That’s not actually a star, it’s a planet.” She gazed up at the night sky and said wryly, “I guess I did get something out of astronomy.”

Gryffindor VS Slytherin Quidditch Match - Drabble

Matilda Dukelow was perched on the edge of her seat in the announcers box, as she animatedly observed the packed stands. Students from all four houses had come to watch the first game of the year. She was feeling both nervous and excited, having been waiting for this game since last year. She jumped in her seat when she felt an unexpected tap on her shoulder, turning around to see Dumbledore. “You may start anytime you’d like, Ms. Dukelow.”
